My name is Evan Brant, Ive been tying flies for over 12 years and fly fishing for 10, For those that dont know, i run a small dairy farm with my dad in SC PA. This is really how im able to raise the birds and is how ive been able to have all the agricultural resources needed to do this.

A little about our Dairy:
      Im very fortunate to have grown up on a family farm, and by family i mean its been owned by my family back into the mid 1800s. Im the 6th generation to farm the ground and the third to actually operate it as a dairy. We cover around 300 acres and plant a variety of crops from corn to alfalfa hay with a lot of others in the mix.


A little on the chicken background:
     We always had chickens growing up and after i started tying flies i started using their feathers to tie with. Upon graduation of Penn State in the spring of 2011 I started looking for actual hackle chickens, and it took almost a year to find eggs that someone was willing to part with.

Family Life:
    I married my wife, Emily in summer of 2011 we had our son, Easton in the summer of 2013. We have another baby coming this July. We have really been blessed as a family and credit it all to God and are very thankful for that!



The Fishing:
    Over the years ive developed a true passion for fishing for wild brown trout in Central PA, I dont get to fish as much as some, but i have a very supportive wife and when the time allows, I live to get out and check out the water that PA has to offer. My time spent on the water is always cherished and i have met a lot of great people through fly fishing. Ive chased a variety of other species on the fly, and enjoy their challenges as well. Saltwater is something thats fairly new to me, and summer 2014 was the first that i went for rockfish around the inlets of OCMD. I can easily see this is another ballgame all together and was a lot of fun and i really really look forward to fishing for them more and other salty species as well.
