Old man winter gave us a good kick in the nuts this week here in South Central PA, with 10 inches of snow on Monday and a nice layer of ice right on top of that Wednesday morning. I was able to do some fishing Sunday afternoon at yellow creeks fly fish only stretch. I managed a few fish in on Bwo nymphs and stone nymphs, and rolled a big rainbow with a sculpin but the hook was spit a few seconds into the battle. It was a nice sight to see a swarm of midges flying in the warmest part if the afternoon but no risers. Spring will come eventually I guess sure wish it would get its rearend in gear. Stay warm out there, here's some 6-7 month old birds that will be this springs skins.
